French Melodic Black Metal. I am in serious danger of overdose from this fantastic one man band! I just came from hearing his latest & desperately need more so here I am... :) Such emotions & perfect melancholic melodies coming through it is truly impressive! The accordion is the perfect touch! Vthelygmia is not as brutal and remorseless as the bandname and album cover would make you think - it goes far beyond that. These 28 minutes feel like being slaughtered, hacked to bits, gutted, and fully disintegrated afterwards. A wild combination of influences, you will hear elements of black and death metal, deathcore (especially in the excellent production and vocal department), some disturbing ambience and slight touches of doom. Immensely violent, utterly satisfying, and just brilliant.
